He Came and Got Me

Paul is bleeding, bound in chains, and standing before a crowd that just tried to kill him. Given one chance to speak, he doesn’t use it to clear his name. He tells them about Jesus.

In Acts 21:37–22:21, Paul takes us back to the day when he was absolutely certain he was right—and completely wrong about Jesus. He tells of the risen Christ who stopped him, called him, washed away his sin, and sent him somewhere Paul never expected to go.

More than twenty years later, Paul is still following.

This is a story for anyone who wonders whether their past makes them unusable, whether they need to be good enough for Jesus, or whether Christ is still at work when life takes a road they never would have chosen.

The Jesus who came and got Paul never let him go.

He didn’t just come and get you. He’s still leading you.
