Where I Ought to Be
How do you know God is working when nothing seems to be happening?
Paul waited two years in Caesarea after Jesus promised he would testify in Rome. Then, in a matter of days, a scheduling decision, an unprovable case, and a Roman legal appeal opened the road God had promised. No angel appeared. No prison doors opened. God is not even named as acting in the passage. And yet His providence is everywhere.
Acts 25:1–12 reminds us that we don’t have to see what God is doing to be faithful where He has put us. We can tell the truth, keep a clear conscience, take the next faithful step, and trust Christ with the road ahead.
You don’t have to see what God is doing to be faithful where He has put you… and when you can’t see what God is doing, be faithful where He has put you.
