Kept by His Grace

What keeps a church standing when its pastor is gone? What keeps a Christian from falling away?

On a beach in Miletus, the Apostle Paul says goodbye to the elders of Ephesus, knowing they will never see him again. Wolves are coming. False teachers will arise. Their shepherd is leaving.

So what will keep the church?

In Acts 20:28-38, Paul points us beyond human leaders to the One who never leaves. Christ purchased His church with His own blood, appointed shepherds to care for His people, warned them before danger arrived, and keeps them by the power of the Word of His grace.

If you’ve ever wondered…

Can I really make it to the end?

What happens when faithful leaders leave?

How do I know God will keep His people?

…this passage offers deep hope.

You were bought by His blood. You are kept by His grace.
